Who We Are
We are proudly a from scratch bakeshop using fresh ingredients and classic home recipes. All of our baked goods are made in house and hand decorated just for you by our talented team.
We have been featured on Cooking Channel's Cupcake Showdown and Cheap Eats. We are a family friendly, full service bakeshop, and would love to help you realize all of your dessert dreams! We offer everything from classic nostalgic baked goods and holiday treats to custom designed cakes, cookies and dessert tables.
Our Story
Fairy Cakes began as a catering business in 2007 with a focus on local vendor markets and baking for private events. The dream to open a storefront came to fruition in 2011 when Fairy Cakes Cupcakery opened its doors on Parkside Avenue in Buffalo, NY. Original brand creator Kelly Audette, and later partner Maureen Torpey grew the Fairy Cakes brand from 2011-2024 expanding their menu, launching custom cakes and cookies, and introducing the one of a kind dessert tables displays. At the end of 2024, Kelly and Maureen passed the business along to one of their own employees, Nicolle as they moved on to explore new adventures. Many of the original team remains in house with the passion and excitement to continue to build the Fairy Cakes brand and make the delicious and beautiful creations you have come to know and love!
